Diagnosis: This species can be distinguished from others by the combination of its yellow frontal vitta and very distinctly shaped hypopygial promince which has a blunt central tubercle and four sharply defined tubercles that are quadrately arranged.
Type material examined: Holotype ♂ ‘ KENYA: Naivasha , vii.1937 (H.J.A. Turner)’ ( NHMUK).
Paratype ♂ same label data as holotype ( NHMUK) .
