This North-East-Palaearctic species is also keyed and illustrated by HEISS & PERICART (2007) and the very characteristic male genitalic structures of the Canadian specimen were compared and considered identical to those of reference specimens from Russia, thus confirming the first record in the New World. According to HEISS (2001) A. laeviusculus is distributed from Scandinavia across Russia to the Far East.
