Anthrenus (Nathrenus) kopeckyi sp. nov. ( Figs. 1-4 View Figs )
Type material. Holotype (♂)¡ Morocco SE, Draa river valley, Tamnogalt env., 20 km S Agdz, 18- 21.V.2003, T. Kopecký leg., ( JHAC) . Paratypes (3 ♂♂)¡ the same data as holotype, ( JHAC) .
Description.
Male body measurements (mm)¡ TL 1.8 EW 1.2; body dark brown, small, oval. Dorsal surfaces covered by intermixed brown, orange-yellow and white scales. Head covered only by white scales. Pronotum covered by brown scales with white scales on lateral margins. Elytra with brown, orange-yellow and white scales; white and orange-yellow scales forming small spots on each elytron ( Fig. 1 View Figs ). Epipleuron with white scales. Individual scales generally widest at about proximal 1/3 or middle with margins tapering gradually towards apex. Antennae consists of 11 antennomeres, dark brown, antennal club consists of 3 antennomeres, compact, terminal antennomere large and oval ( Fig. 2 View Figs ). Antennal fossa very long and narrow. Frons with median ocellus. Eyes with entire median margin. Ventral surface covered with white scales, particular abdominal sternites bearing very small spots of yellowish scales at antero-lateral margins. Sternites I-V without spots in the middle, covered by white scales. Prosternum only with white scales. Metasternum only with white scales, without a large patch at lateral margins. 9 th sternite as in Fig. 3 View Figs . Legs brown with white scales and white setae. Aedeagus as in Fig. 4 View Figs .
