Anthidium collectum View in CoL occurs from Oregon, USA south to the BCP ( Ayala et al. 1996; Gonzalez & Griswold 2013). This species appears to prefer pollen from Lotus View in CoL L. in the family Fabaceae ( Gonzalez & Griswold 2013) View in CoL . There are preserved specimen records collected in the Chaparral by SDNHM ( GBIF 2023), and collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Mártir, and the Pacific Islands at Isla Cedros in BBSL. Additionally, the BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in April and May 2022 (5 ♂, 3 ♀), and Chaparral in the foothills of Sierra San Pedro Mártir (2 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 196.
