While Anodontiglanis dahli is widespread throughout the Northern Territory and Gulf of Carpentaria ( Allen et al. 2002), within the Kimberley the species is known only from the Fitzroy River ( Fig. 8). Within this river the species is typically found within the main channel and is widespread .
