Comments. This species is very distinct from others that occur in the region. The rostral prong is short and strongly rounded at apex, resembling superficially that of B. incompta ( Fig. 27 ), although the rostral prong of B. fuscipennis is more robust and shorter than the third rostral segment ( Fig. 23 ).The rostral prong is slender and a little longer than the third rostral segment in B. incompta .
