Horaeomorphus ankaratrae Franz, 1986b: 160 View in CoL .

Remarks. The holotype (the only known specimen) is deposited in Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris and was not available for my study. Characters described by Franz, especially the illustrated aedeagus with a pair of elongate distolateral endophallic sclerites, and the male metatibiae sinuate and distally broadened leave no doubts that this species belongs in Anhoraeomorphus . According to Franz (1986b), A. ankaratrae is most similar to A. adamsoniae .

Distribution. Central Madagascar (Vakinankaratra Region).
