[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Gavilan , Riverside Co., California, US; March 20, 1932]

This species has been recorded in the Coastal Sage Matorral and Chaparral ecoregions of BC and it is a pollen specialist on plants in the genus Camissonia Link ( LaBerge & Thorp 2005) . The BBPT collected a single female specimen in the Coastal Sage Matorral at Valle de Guadalupe in April 2021 (MABC). See fig. 17.
