Type material: Male holotype and female allotype taken in Washington, Chelan County, Boulder Creek, 1350’, 48.335ºN 120.683ºW, 24.ix. 1998, 3 in Acer-Cornus litter in ravine, Ƥ under stone in ravine, R. Crawford ( UWBM). EXAMINED.

Etymology: The specific name is a patronym in honor of Don Buckle for his contribution to Linyphiidae taxonomy, and for his support and friendship.

Diagnosis: Males are diagnosed from all species by the large, rugose and squared dorsal cymbial tubercle ( Fig. 203 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). Females are distinguished from all species by the narrow, dark proximal part of scape ( Fig. 206 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). From A. fillmorana and A. darrelli , by the vertical sides of the proximal part of scape ( Fig. 206 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ), oblique in A. fillmorana and A. darrelli (Figs 181, 191).

Description: Male: Total length 2.20; carapace length 1.00, width 0.76.

CEPHALOTHORAX: Carapace orange, shiny, finely reticulate; lightly suffused with dark gray along radiating lines, pars cephalica and margin. Sternum completely suffused with dark gray. Clypeus height 2. Chelicerae orange; not excavated; seta-tipped tubercles absent; promargin three denticles, retromargin two tiny denticles. Cheliceral stridulatory organ easily visible ~20 striae, well spaced. ABDOMEN: Uniformly light to dark gray. LEGS: Light orange; leg I total length: 4.81; leg III total length: 3.43; Tm I: 0.27, Tm IV: absent. GENITALIA: Palpal retrolateral tibial apophysis absent; dorsal tibial apophysis triangular, rugose; one retrolateral and one dorsal trichobothria ( Fig. 202 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). Cymbium with retrolateral fold; glabrous depression present ( Fig. 202 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ); dorsal cymbial tubercle large and square; ventral cymbial tubercle absent; prolateral notch shallow ( Fig. 203 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). Paracymbium apical pocket small, anterior pocket absent, posterior pocket small and rounded ( Fig. 202 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). Embolus tip pointed; tiny spines apically and basally; large spikes retro-ventrally; Fickert’s gland medial, bulbous; ventral lamella enlarged basally into a plate with small short spines, extending on the retrolateral side of the embolus all the way to the the embolus proper, with a row of spines; thumb short not reaching the embolus proper ( Fig. 204 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). Embolus proper set apically, serrated, crest-like, reaching the tip of embolus ( Fig. 204 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ). Anterior terminal apophysis extremely wide with numerous, long protrusions; posterior terminal apophysis with sclerotized tip with ridges and an elongated prong basally; lamella characteristica narrow, with dentate curved tip, somewhat transparent ( Fig. 205 View FIGURES 202 – 208 ).

Female: Total length 1.97; carapace length 0.89, width 0.68.
