Measurement. Male, 3.30–3.45 mm (including wings).

Description. Body mostly dark brown ( Figs 21, 22 View FIGURES 17–32 ). Face largely dark brown, frontoclypeal area with dark brown transverse stripes, lorum and genae brown ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 17–32 ). Vertex greyish-brown medially, remaining parts light yellow, with a brown patch along anterior margin connecting the 2 lateral black patches. Pronotum largely blackish brown with some light yellow areas, median area light brown; Triangles and scutellum dark brown ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 17–32 ). Forewing with one brown patch each at base, middle and apical part in basal 2/3, apical 1/3 smoky brown; MP''+CuA' vein and 3rd apical cell with light brown patches, brochosome area pale brown with a blackish brown patch at each end ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 49–60 ).

Abdominal apodemes extending to base of 6th abdominal sternite ( Fig. 98 View FIGURES 98–105 ). Male pygofer with some scattered slender setae, a longitudinal sclerotized band near posterior margin with prominently extended ventral angle bearing some small protuberances; a horn-like pygofer process bearing some rigid setae ( Figs 99, 100 View FIGURES 98–105 ). Subgenital plate with distal part bearing some long fine setae and small rigid setae; a distinct protrusion subapically, apex with a few peg-like setae ( Figs 101, 102 View FIGURES 98–105 ). Style with a short, horn-like subapical process forming an obtuse angle with apical part ( Figs 101, 103 View FIGURES 98–105 ). Connective without central lobe ( Fig. 101 View FIGURES 98–105 ). Aedeagal shaft slender, with a dorsal fin-like ventral process, and a plate-like expansion dorsally at end ( Fig. 104 View FIGURES 98–105 ).

Specimens examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Sichuan Province, Liziping National Nature Reserve , 2000m, 9 Aug 2021, coll. Junjie Wang. Paratype: 2♂ 1♀, same data as holotype .

Remarks. The new species is similar to A. (A.) hamaculeata sp. nov., but differs in the following characteristics: abdominal apodemes extending to base of 6th abdominal sternite ( Fig. 98 View FIGURES 98–105 ); pygofer process with some rigid setae ( Fig. 100 View FIGURES 98–105 ); style with subapical process forming an obtuse angle with apical part ( Fig. 103 View FIGURES 98–105 ).

Etymology. This specific epithet is derived from Latin words “niger” and “flavus”, referring to the overall black and yellow coloration ( Figs 21, 22 View FIGURES 17–32 ).
