Distribution in Iran. Bushehr, Hormozgan, Kerman ( Cate et al. 2002), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Cate et al. 2002; Tashakor et al. 2013), Iran (no locality cited) ( Cate 2007; Platia 2013a).
New materials. Southern Khorasan (Deh Shor, 25 km N Tabas), Sistan & Baluchestan (Bahu Kalat; 13 km SSE Nikshahr; 9 km S Espakeh; Sarbaz env.; Banue-Charehar; Ghasem-Abad, 10 km Bampur; 25 km W Ghasre- Ghand), Hormozgan ( Bandar-Abbas) (Hassan-Langi) (Platia coll.).
General distribution. Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan ( Cate 2007). Comments. An acari, Silphitrombium elateridum Tashakor, Hajiqanbar & Saboori 2013 (Trombidiformes: Neothrombiidae ) was collected as the parasite of H. (= Aeoloides ) heideni ( Tashakor et al. 2013).
