Range: — Peru, Bolivia (CO).
Ecology: —Rare (two collections known), terrestrial in montane forests; ca. 2000 m.
Notes: —A distinctive member of the Adiantum raddianum clade ( Sundue et al. 2010, Hirai et al. 2016). Rhizomes long-creeping, scale margins entire; rachises glabrous; blades usually pinnate; pinnae or pinnules entire, suborbicular rather than flabellate, not articulate, stalked ca. 1 cm, glabrous; sori borne on distal pinnule margins, regularly distributed; indusia large, orbicular, glabrous.
