Length 2 lines.-Jet-black, with the antenna; and articulations of the legs obscurely rufo-piceous: the head, viewed in front, nearly quadrate, with the hinder angles rounded; the anterior margin of the face nearly straight, the mandibles ferruginous at their apex; the head rugose, with the clypeus smooth and shining. Thorax rugose, the metathorax armed with two long acute spines; the tarsi rufo-testaceous. Abdomen: the first node oblong, the second subovate; the apex of the abdomen very acute.  Hab. Brazil (Ega).
