This is the first record of  C.cf. eburneafrom the Volta Regionand since the Volta Riveris considered the eastern boundary of the  C. obscuriorcomplex ( Jacquet et al.2014), this possible range extension awaits further study.  CONSERVATION STATUS. —  Crocidura eburneawas included in the IUCN Red List in 2019 and assessed as “Least Concern”. 3117087337 1999-11-27 ZFMK 10 261 ZFMK 1999.1144 1 1
