<spm:hasContent>  Remarks. A female specimen collected in South Chinaagrees with the original description of the female syntypes. Thoracic chaetotaxy of the lectotypefemale (presence of two dc and a long prsc) was ascertained by Lonsdale and Marshall(2007b)following the suggestion by Sasakawa (1974)of Hendel’s miscount of these bristles. The male genitalia were described and figured by Sasakawa (1974: figs 6–8): the surstylus is triangular in lateral view, the cercus arcuate. The distiphallus is slender as in  Phylloclusia bivittata  sp. nov.</spm:hasContent>
