Stegana (Steganina) lacunata Krivosheina, 1987: 33 (synonymized by: Toda et al., 1996: 462).

Remarks

Since S. unidentata Takada, 1968 was reported from Hokkaido, Japan, and after it was found from Honshu and Kyushu, Japan by Okada (1971), this species has not been recorded from further specimens. On the contrary, S. ctenaria Nishiharu, 1979 from Honshu was mentioned several times by Toda et al. (1996), Chen & Aotsuka (2004), Chen et al. (2009) and Zhang et al. (2014). Examining the original descriptions and samples from Hokkaido, Honshu and Kyushu of the above two species, we cannot find any distinguishing character between them ( Fig. 9 ), indicating that these names pertain to the same species.
