DISTRIBUTION: North Pagai, South Pagai, Sipora, and Siberut (Mentawi Isis.).

COMMENT: Provisionally considered distinct from sabanus by Musser, 1981, Bull. Am. Mus . Nat. Hist., 168(3):257, 267; includes soccatus.
