TYPE LOCALITY: Sudan, Bahr-El-Ghazal, Chak Chak and Dem Zubeir .

DISTRIBUTION: S.W. Sudan.

COMMENT: Subgenus Myomyscus ; see Misonne, 1974, Part 6:26. Probably conspecific with daltoni in subgenus Myomys (EVS) .
