TYPE LOCALITY: Ethiopia, Kaffa, Charada Forest, 6000 ft. (1829 m) .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENT: Position is very doubtful; only known from skin of type; see Dieterlen, 1974, Z. Saugetierk., 39:229-231.
