( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 f, 4e)
Type material. Holotype: ♂, Thailand: Nakhon Nayok, Khao Yai, 800 m, 7.VIII.1987, coll. S. Moriuti, T. Saito, Y. Arita & Y. Yoshiyasu, genitalia slide No. CIS-6217/Park. The holotype is deposited in OPUJ.
Description. Adult ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 f) with wingspan 15.0 mm. Head brown, pale yellow around compound eye. Antenna pale yellow. Labial palpus with second segment dark brown; third segment slender and pale yellow, slightly longer than second segment. Thorax brown, mixed with dark brown scales; tegula brown. Forewing with costal margin slightly arched, apex bluntly rounded, termen slightly concave below apex; ground color yellowish brown, with dense brown scales; markings blackish brown, edged with pale yellow scales: humeral patch a small spot; costal patch at basal 2/5, wedge-shaped; median patch nearly trapezoidal, upper margin reaching below upper margin of cell, lower margin exceeding fold, inner margin arched; with a pair of discocellular stigmata, nearly elliptical, narrowly joined; subterminal fascia obliquely straight, pale yellow; fringe deep gray, basal line pale yellow. Hindwing and fringe deep gray, basal line yellowish white. Fore leg brown, tibia and tarsus yellowish white on dorsal surface; mid leg brown, tibia yellowish white; hind leg yellowish white on dorsal surface, brown on ventral surface, tarsus with dark brown scales.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 e): Uncus clavate, slightly broadened at base; apex slightly rounded, bearing setae. Gnathos relatively short. Valva broad at base, gently narrowed to about middle; costa broadly concave into a semicircle; ventral margin concave beyond middle; sacculus narrow, distal half separated from valva, apex pointed, obliquely extending upward to near basal 2/5 of valva; cucullus dilated distally, with round outer margin, densely setose. Juxta nearly rectangular, anterior margin almost straight, caudal margin rectangularly convex; caudal lobe slender, claviform, bearing setae near apex, about 1/3 length of juxta. Vinculum narrowly banded, U-shaped. Aedeagus stout, narrowed basally, broadest at about basal 1/3, gradually narrowed to apex, as long as valva, with a cluster of particles in distal 1/3; cornuti consisting of dense spinules.
Female unknown.
Diagnosis. This species can be separated from its congeners by the forewing having two nearly elliptical, narrowly joined discocellular stigmata; and the valva with cucullus dilated toward rounded apex in the male genitalia.
Distribution. Thailand.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin conjugatus (conjunct), referring to the forewing with two narrowly joined discocellular stigmata.
