Preservation: pinned; specimen intact.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Tibet Medog / No. 965 / Chinese Academy of Sciences ”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “19 80.IV.21 / collector Jianyi Wu ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / medogensis / Fan ” .

Preservation: mounted on paper triangle. Missing parts: left mid leg.
