Locus typicus: “… au bord du Rhône ... “ [Geneva].
Type material: Syntypes (male imagines?), not traced.
Remarks: A well-established synonymy. Heptagenia sulphurea is still present in the Rhone River at Geneva ( Sartori et al., 1989).
