Cochylis udana View in CoL was described from an unspecified number of specimens collected in moist meadows in mid- August ( Guenée 1845). A lectotype was selected by Razowski (1970) ( Figs. 6A, 6 View FIGURES 6 A – 6 B B), who concluded that the typelocality was Chateaudun (Eure et Loir, France).
