Description. Medium-sized species. Body length (including forewing): male, 6.1–6.3 mm; female, 6.2–6.5 mm.
Coloration. General color brown to black with darker brown markings on head, pronotum and scutellum. Crown ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ) with a variable black broad band medially, ocelli and eyes ( Fig. 2B, C View FIGURE 2 ) black. Face ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ) brown, with a black longitudinal stripe on middle of clypeus. Pronotum and scutellum ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ) black, with brown markings. Forewing ( Fig. 2A–E View FIGURE 2 ) clavus dark brown. Legs ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ) dark brown to black.
Wing venation. Forewing with inner and middle anteapical cells closed.
Male genitalia. Pygofer ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ) long, apex round. Male valve ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ) basal margin curved, apex convex medially, with a sharp projection. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ) uniformly of moderate width from base to apex. Connective ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ), base and apex expanded. Style ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ) base thin, with fine teeth along medial margin. Aedeagus ( Fig. 2G View FIGURE 2 ) cylindrical, slender from base to apex with pair of long processes preapically, with a short curved ventral process at base of shaft.
Measurements (mm). Male: body length 6.10–6.30, face length 1.30–1.40, width 1.70–1.80; distance between ocelli 0.41–0.45; distance from ocellus to eyes 0.20–0.30; medial length of pronotum 0.60–0.66, width 0.85–0.90; scutellum length 1.0–1.1, width 0.70–0.75.
Type material. Holotype, ♂, Pingbian County, Mt. Daweishan , Yunnan Province, China. (108° 41′ 18″ E, 22° 59′ 12″ N; H: 1500 m), 14–16 June 2019, coll. Jiajia Wang & Chao Zhang. Remarks. The new species can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the aedeagus with two extremely long subapical processes, and clypeus with a distinct black longitudinal stripe on the middle.
Etymology. The new species name is derived from the words “ longi ” and “ processus ”, referring to the two extremely long processes of the aedeagus.
Host plant. Unknown.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
