Comments. B. lindahli is a one of North America’s most widespread Branchinecta species, reported from Canada (Alberta), USA (Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming), and México (Baja California (Norte), Baja California Sur) (Lynch, 1964; Hartland-Rowe, 1965; Belk, 1975, 1977a,b, 1983; Belk & Brtek, 1995; Eng, Eriksen & Belk, 1990; Eriksen & Belk, 1999; Maeda-Martinez et al., 2002).
