Remarks: Genus raised by Grebennikov (2009) to contain several named and unnamed species and placed in the Discheramocephalini based on their possession of a perforated mesoventrum. In common with Cissidium the species have a median restriction in antennomere XI giving it a dumbbell shaped appearance. Darby (2013) revised Grebennikov’s generic description and described 13 new species from Madagascar. This specimen cannot be determined with certainty in the absence of more specimens to study.
