Laristania vestaliella ( Erschoff, 1874)
Myelois vestaliella Erschoff, 1874 . Izvestija Imperatorskago Obshchestva Ljubitjelej. Estestvoznanija, Antropologii i Etnografii pri Imperatorskom Moskovskom Universitete, 11 (2) (5): 88. Type (s): Turkestan, “Kisil-kum”.
= Myelois pollinella Christoph, 1877
Distribution: Turkestan, Turkmenistan ( Ragonot, 1893).
Remarks: Evaluating Laristania species in this research, the similarities between the male genitalia of L. aspergella ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ) and L. vestaliella , both species were described from Central Asia, attract attention. Ragonot (1893) stated that vestaliella is much whiter and it has only a discoidal spot. Comparing the adult morphology of the species with figures in the study of Leraut (2014), differences between the shape of antemedial bands are also seen. The type series of these two species should be compared in more detail.
