7. Alloxiphidiopsis fingera View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs. 8–14 View FIGURES 8 – 14 )

Male. Body stout, medium for the tribe Meconematini . Fastigium verticis conical, stout and short, apex obtusely rounded, with dorsal longitudinal sulcus. Eyes oval, protruding forwards. Apical segment of maxillary palpi slightly shorter than subapical one, apex enlarged.

Pronotum short, anterior margin almost straight, posterior margin angularly rounded, metazona shorter than prozona; lateral lobe comparatively low, humeral sinus indistinct Thoracic auditory spiracle large, peanut-shaped. Tegmina much surpassing apices of postfemora, hind wings slightly longer than tegmina. Procoxa with a spine, protibiae with 4 spines on inner side and 5 spines on outer side of ventral margin, tibial tympana open on internal and external sides, femora without ventral spines. Posttibiae with 25–27 spines on internal and external sides of dorsal margin separately, and a pair of apical spurs, genicular lobe obtusely rounded.

Ninth abdominal tergite protruding backwards, comparatively short, slightly surpassing posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite, basal area of process slightly narrow, apex obtusely rounded, finger-shaped, with median longitudinal carina. Tenth abdominal tergite asymmetric, posterior margin concave, right margin prominent, with finger-shaped process curved outwards. Cerci asymmetric, inner margin on basal part with a finger-shaped process, basal part of left cercus broad, lamellar, divided into two branches, dorsal branch curved interno-dorsally, slightly enlarged; ventral branch curved interno-ventrad, then curved forwards, apex truncate, subapical area with a short process; basal area of right cercus broad, dorsal branch with thin basal part, then slightly enlarged, apex thin, obtusely rounded; ventral branch curved ventrad, basal area broad, middle area slightly thin, then enlarged, apex thin, obtusely rounded. Subgenital plate long, basal margin broad, apex comparatively straight, centre slightly concave. Styli thin and long.

Coloration. Body green. Eyes light brown. Spines of posttibiae with apices brown. Apical area of third tarsus brown.

Female. Unknown.

Measurements (mm). Body: 39.0–10.5; pronotum: 33.8–4.0; tegmina: 315.0–15.8; postfemora: 311.0–11.5.

Type material. Holotype, male, Lancang, Yunnan, 13 August, 2007, collected by Fu-Ming Shi and Shao- Li Mao. Paratypes, 1 male, the other data as holotype; 1 male, Longling (Lameng), Yunnan, 5 August, 2005, collected by Hao-Yu Liu.

Discussion. The new species is allied to A. irregularis ( Bey-Bienko, 1962) , and A. ovalis Liu & Zhang, 2007 , but it is different from them in: ninth abdominal tergite of male short, slightly asymmetric; tenth abdominal tergite of male asymmetric, posterior margin concave, right margin prominent, with finger-shaped process curved outwards; cerci of male asymmetric, complex.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. The name of the new species refers to the morphology of male’s tenth abdominal tergite.
