Treatment

A genus with a Gondwanan distribution, with three species known from South America, five species from Australia ( Harvey 1990) and three species from New Zealand ( Cook 1983). Of all the South American species only one of the sexes of each species is known. A new species was collected on Tierra del Fuego.
