Material examined. 1♀, Lüderitz District , Obib waters at: 28°00’08”S 16°384’6”E, 25–26.viii.1998, E. Marais & A.H. Kirk­Spriggs, yellow pan trap sample .

Notes. Most similar to H. munroi Hesse. Specimens discoloured and pattern on cuticle is not clear. Males blackish with very long white hair; very prominent buccal rim, eyes in contact immediately in front of ocellar triangle; claws straight, bent down near tips only; rm cross­vein at 2/3 from base of dm; aedeagus with two short prongs only. Females yellow­brown with traces of dark markings on mesonotum and abdominal terga with 3 dark spots; frons twice width of eye, bulging, buccal rim more spout­like than male.
