Type locality: Yuwunshan , Guizhou province, China .

Diagnosis. Sinodrepanus uenoi is a well characterized species, whose males can be readily identified by virtue of the elongated parameres, with basolateral plate thin and close to parameral apex, and parameral apex strongly bent ventrally. Other characters are given in the dichotomous key provided below.

Variation. According to the original description ( Ochi et al. 2004), females of this species have only 3 protibial teeth. However, one of the examined females has a fourth, small tooth on the distal protibial margin.

Distribution. China (Guizhou) ( Ochi et al. 2004), Laos (new country record).

Remarks. This species was described from China and never recorded again after the original description.
