Lectotype (designated here by Gottschlich): — GERMANY. Thuringia: Kranichfeld, Bergkuppe oberh. d. Schlosses , 8 July 1923, J. Bornmüller ( B barcode B 10 0460389!; isolectotype: B barcode B 10 0460390!).—Current name: Hieracium murorum subsp. calvifrans Zahn (1931: 300) .
