Syntype:— TURKEY: In inferiore mt.Ak-dagh inter Amasia et Ladik , 12 July 1890, J. Bornmüller (J. Bornmüller: Plantae Anatoliae orient. No. 1850) ( BRNM No. 07139/36!) .
Remarks: —Based on the protologue information “folia … grosse multidentata” this taxon should be included in Hieracium pannosum subsp. bornmuelleri .
