Specimens examined. 8♀♀, Pinus sylvestris, Solenoozerny area, BSBR (46°27'N, 31°59'E), 14.06.2015, O. Zhovnerchuk GoogleMaps ; 18♀♀, P. nigra pallasiana, Volyzhyn forest, BSBR (46°32'N, 31°42'E), 11.06.2015, O. Zhovnerchuk GoogleMaps .
The species is found on man-made pine plantations on the periphery of BSBR. The mites can cause obvious damage (pine needles turn brownish and fall off).
