Neotype (Wickens in Kew Bull. 31: 1. 1976): Herb. Linn. No. 1222.2 ( LINN) .

Current name: Terminalia bentzoe (L.) L. f. ( Combretaceae ).

Note: Wickens treated what is presumably sheet 1222.2 (LINN) as the holotype but there are no annotations linking the collection to the name. However, in the absence of original material, this choice is treated as a neotypification (Art. 9.8).
