REMARKS
The characters separating P. tokiokai from P. nigricans Heller, 1878 , based on the disposition of the gonads, have been specified by Monniot F. & Monniot C. (1999) based on specimens of P. nigricans from Tanzania.
The distribution of this species includes the Philippines Islands, New Caledonia, Palau, and Indonesia.
