Type Locality: Indonesia, Sulawesi, Talassa (near Maros).
Vernacular Names: Big-eared Leaf-nosed Bat.
Distribution: Sulawesi, Seram (Molucca Isls) and Kangean Isls ( Indonesia).
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: bicolor species group. Formerly included in bicolor , but see Hill et al. (1986) and Bergmans and van Bree (1986). May be conspecific with pomona ; see Corbet and Hill (1992).
