Material: PEM R20489 (44a).

Comment : A specimen ( Fig. 8b View Fig ) collected in the floodplain of the lower Cuando River represents the second record for Angola. The previous record was 700 km north at Calundo, Moxico Province ( Laurent 1964). The sister species Limnophis bicolor is more widespread in western, central, and northern Angola.
