Type locality. Waitakerei [sic, Waitakere] Range.

Broun number: 2368.

Type material examined. 2 exx. Syntypes ( NHM): 2 specimens mounted on a single card, abdomen & genitalia of a single specimen mounted on separate card, “SYN- \ TYPE ” [round label with blue border], “ Amplectopus \ latulus .” [in Broun’s hand], “ New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “Waitakerei”, “2368.” [in Broun’s hand].

Remarks. Broun (1893) studied two specimens from Waitakerei Range.
