Distribution

Norway ( Mąkol and Gulvik 2002), Sweden ( Andersén 1863, Southcott 1991) and Finland ( Karppinen 1958 [as Sphaerolophus globiger Berlese, 1885, misidentification verified in Gabryś et al. 2009], Haitlinger 2000, Gabryś et al. 2009).

Rhyncholophus principalis C. L. Koch, 1837 is a junior synonym ( Gabryś 2016).
