Male: L = 1.53 mm; a = 33; b = 5.3; c = 28; cÕ=1.5; lip region width = 15 m; lip region height = 5 m; amphidial aperture = 9 m; odontostyle = 24.5 m; odontophore = 31 m; guiding ring = 15 m; neck length = 287 m; expanded part of pharynx = 103 m; cardia = 14 m long; prerectum = 93 m; spicules = 44 m; lateral guiding pieces = 11 m; ventromedian supplements = 4; tail = 55 m; ABD = 36 m.

Location of pharyngeal gland nuclei and their orifices: D = 72 — 73; AS1 = 28 — 29; AS2 = 34 — 37; PS1 = 54 — 56; PS2 = 55 56

Habitat and locality: Soil around roots of forest trees (unidentified) from Shengnongjia mountains, Hubei Province, P. R. China

Remarks: Baqri and Jairajpuri (1974) described this species from high altitude in India. The present specimens agree fairly well with the Indian population except for having slightly shorter odontostyle (vs 25 — 29 m) and odontophore (vs. 34 — 40 m). This could be because of geographical variations.
