Type locality. PENINSULAR MALAYSIA, Perak, Hulu, Belum

Distribution. Northern Sumatra, Malay Peninsula (Perak, SINGAPORE?)

Remarks. Gorochov 2007 [2006] noted that Mistshenkoana nigrifrons may have occurred in Singapore, but was identified as Mistshenkoana angustifrons (Chopard, 1930) from Borneo. Nonetheless, this species was not encountered in recent surveys in Singapore (including Tan, 2012, 2017).
