Australia, introduced into Africa, America, Europe, Hawaii.— Brazil: BA ( Masson et al. 2009), DF (ELEF, NHMB), ES ( Resende & Santana 2008), GO, MG ( Santana et al. 2003, Sá & Wilcken 2004), MS ( Wilcken et al. 2003, Sá & Wilcken 2004), MT (ELEF, NHMB), PE ( Breda et al. 2010), PR ( Santana et al. 2003, Sá & Wilcken 2004), RS ( Oliveira et al. 2006), SC ( Lutinski et al. 2006), SP ( Santana et al. 2003, Sá & Wilcken 2004), TO (ELEF).
Host plant. Eucalyptus spp., in Brazil mostly E. camaldulensis , E. tereticornis and several hybrids of E. camaldulensis with E. grandis or E. urophylla (Myrtaceae) .
