Diagnosis. Within the C. foveolaris -group the extremely elongate malar area of C. longimala (about twice as long as width of mandible base) is unique and slightly shorter in the closely related C. annapurnensis Kuhlmann , C. laevigena Noskiewicz and C. pseudolaevigena Kuhlmann. In C. annapurnensis and C. laevigena the shape of S7 closely resembles that of C. longimala but their gonostyli are about 1.5–2 times as long and distinctly curved upwards. In C. pseudolaevigena the gonostylus is slightly shorter than in C. longimala but its S7 is apically distinctly emarginate while it is truncate in C. longimala ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 f).

Description. Female. Unknown.

Male. Bl: 9.0 mm. Head. Head much longer than wide ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 c). Integument black except part of mandible dark reddish-brown. Face densely covered with long, greyish-white, erect hairs, vertex with very few dark brown hairs intermixed. Malar area medially about twice as long as width of mandible base, sparsely punctate, smooth and shiny between punctures ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 d). Antenna black, ventrally dark brown. Mesosoma. Integument black. Disc of scutum smooth and shiny between punctures; disc very sparsely punctate (i = 3–5d) with small punctures. Scutellum anteriorly almost impunctate but with dense punctation apically, surface smooth and shiny. Scutum, scutellum, metanotum, mesepisternum and propodeum covered with long, greyish-white erect hairs, scutum and scutellum medially with a few blackish hairs ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 a). Wings. Slightly yellowish-brown; wing venation dark brown. Legs. Integument black to dark reddish-brown. Vestiture greyish-white. Metasoma. Integument black except depressed apical tergal margins reddish to yellowish translucent ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 b). T1, base and disc of T2 densely covered with long, white, erect hairs; apical tergal hair band on T1 narrow, on following terga broader ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 b). Terga apically slightly depressed. Terga with dense and fine punctation (i <0.5d), between punctures smooth and shiny ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 b). Terminalia. Genitalia and S7 as illustrated ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 e–f).
