Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Santa Cruz.

Remarks. Adults of this species were collected on coastal rocks and beaches ( Wirth 1969b). At CDRS, both N. ashlocki and N. galapagensis have been collected together with Paracanace cavagnaroi and Canaceoides angulatus among the intertidal rocks and sand (B.J. Sinclair unpub.).
