Distribution. Cryptogenic. Hawaii; Galápagos: Isabela (ICCDRS), Santa Cruz.
Remarks. This species is confined to the littoral zone and collected on sand beaches. The Galápagos population may not be conspecific with the Hawaiian population (N.L. Evenhuis, pers. comm.).
