Distribution. Not determined. Galápagos: Isabela, Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal.
Material examined. Galápagos : San Cristóbal: Agricultural zone, 300 m, sweeping swarm, 20.ii.1989, B.J. Sinclair (5 ♁, 1 ♀, CNC). Isabela: Sierra Negra, 1000 m, sweeping, 3–11.1989, B.J. Sinclair (1 ♁, CNC); Villamil, 2 kmW, 2–15.iii.1989, brackish meadow, MT, S.B. Peck & B.J. Sinclair (1 ♁, CNC). Santa Cruz : El Cascajo, Finca Aguirre, 11.xi.2001, B.J. Sinclair (1 ♁, CNC).
Remarks. This species is very similar to N. certa Walker ( McAlpine & Steyskal 1982) , but lacks rough spiculate at the base of the phallus. Larvae of this genus infest fruits and vegetables ( McAlpine & Steyskal 1982).
