Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Isabela, Santa Cruz, Santiago.
Remarks. Adults were collected primarily from humid highland zones and associated with wet, decaying leaf litter ( Marshall 1997b). This species forms the sister group to the rest of the Neotropical members of the species group ( Marshall 1997b).
