Distribution. Introduced. Cosmopolitan; Galápagos: Santa Cruz.

Remarks. Adults have been found near brackish and saline habitats ( Mathis 1995b). This species has been intercepted on aircraft, indicating that it has been spread by commerce ( Mathis 1994).
