Distribution. Introduced. Cosmopolitan; Galápagos: Darwin (CAS), Wolf (CNC, ICCDRS).
Material examined. Galápagos: Wolf : 29.i.2016, McPhail trap, R . Heleno (2 ♁, CNC) .
Remarks. Coboldia fuscipes larvae can develop in a wide variety of media (decaying organic matter, mainly vegetable, dung, fungi, etc.) and the species is frequently found in all kinds of locations, both in human settlements and in natural areas.
